Featured Projects
Safe-Route-to-School Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Plan
ADVANTEC prepared Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety plan and report as part of the project team's scope-of-services in developing a non-infrastructure Safe-Route-to-School Program for the City of Claremont. Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety plan was developed adhering to the 2012 FHWA publication entitled How to Develop a Pedestrian Safety Action Plan (FHWA-SA-05-12).
Class II & III ARTIC Bike Lane Project
ADVANTEC provided Class II Bicycle Lanes & Class III Sharrows design to connect West Anaheim to the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) at the Santa Ana River Trail. The ARTIC is expected to serve 20 million annual visitors to Anaheim, and this project will help to provide visitors access to areas west of the ARTIC by bicycle. The bike lanes provide a safer travel route for commuter and recreational bicyclists for nearly eight continuous miles, and are expected to reduce total emissions, reduce number of motor vehicle trips, and improve air quality over a 15-year life span.
