Project Description

The project provides active traffic management (ATM) and integrated corridor management (ICM) strategies on Route 405 from Rosecrans Avenue to Route 90 to maximize corridor wide system performance and maxamize freeway capacity to address congestion. ADVANTEC was responsible for supporting the development of the Concept of Operations (ConOps) and finalizing the locations of Traffic Management System (TMS) elements including census stations, Ramp Metering Systems (RMS), CCTV, changable message signs (CMS), and ATM gantries, dynamic signs, lane-by-lane dynamic lane management signs, maintenance vehicle pullouts and VDSs in preparation of the draft Project Report.
